Graeme grew up in Edmonton and remains passionate about fostering a strong, vibrant local community. In his twenties, he was an active member of the Edmonton Rugby Union—first as a player, then as a coach. His rugby journey took him across Canada and around the world, including to Argentina, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. These days, Graeme enjoys spending time on local golf courses and tending to his unique home garden.
Graeme holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy and Political Studies from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He earned his LLB with Distinction from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. While in law school, Graeme contributed to the Aberdeen Law Project, providing pro bono research and advocacy on housing law reforms. He was called to the Alberta Bar after completing his articles at Axon Law in Edmonton, where he focused on criminal defence litigation.
Graeme regularly appears in Alberta Court of Justice locations across Northern and Central Alberta. He understands that facing the criminal justice system can be overwhelming and works to ensure his clients feel heard, informed, and supported throughout the process. Committed to the presumption of innocence, Graeme takes a strategic, results-driven approach to every case he handles.
